Maggie had her 1st birthday party with friends this year. We had great fun getting ready to have these cute girls over. To our shock she requested a princess theme :)
so Mom made a cake...

making this was ridiculously fun -
maybe little girls never get over liking things that are pink and glittery

decorated a bit..
made some gifts for our guests..
gave the birthday girl a new crown for her special day..
it went over well :)
do you love jaxon in the background....brothers - what can you do?
and then the party started -
Maggie loved opening gifts from her friends - they obviously know her well, she loved everything!
look at these royal beauties (aren't they so sweet )
more present opening
i love this picture...tongue out, practically salivating over that box of glittery shoes from her friend Ruby
happy girl! :)

Love the cake! Kami watches a youtube video about how to make one of these princess castle cakes a few times a week. She will be so excited when I show her yours. Maybe I'll have to fly you out in December to make one for her birthday :). It's an amazing cake!
Maggie is so cute, too! Before you know it you'll have them all in school!
