a party for the princess

Maggie had her 1st birthday party with friends this year. We had great fun getting ready to have these cute girls over. To our shock she requested a princess theme :)

so Mom made a cake...

making this was ridiculously fun -

maybe little girls never get over liking things that are pink and glittery

decorated a bit..
made some gifts for our guests..
gave the birthday girl a new crown for her special day..

it went over well :)

Maggie loved opening gifts from her friends - they obviously know her well, she loved everything! look at these royal beauties (aren't they so sweet )

which is by far her favorite dinner
