Riverside Park

On of my favorite parks on Neenah is Riverside Park - it has a gorgeous fountain and beautiful old homes around it. Here are some photos of the kids playing in the fountain on a hot summer day. :)
Maggie -
Queen of the sundress - she is still trying to wear one every day, even though it is now November.

sweet baby girl - look how blonde her hair was mid-summer - i love it.

lia and jax getting soaked
all three :)

boys?
i miss summer already just looking at these pictures.....sigh

Neenah Pool

We spent quite a few days at the Neenah pool this summer. Some of Lia's friends have older siblings and spend almost every day hanging out at the pool, therefore Lia asked to go to the pool constantly. She is a pretty good swimmer these days - so she just takes off and plays with all of her friends from school. Jax and Maggie still require my full attention however! It is a great facility so next year I think season passes are in order.

Here are some pics of the kids enjoying the water.

You can tell Maggie is the child that stays the closest to me -
I have tons of pictures of her and only a few of the other kids! :)

golf and gymnastics

The kids took some classes through Neenah Parks and Rec this summer. Jax did T-Ball (which i already posted about), Maggie took tumbling and Ty, Lia and Jaxon took a parent/child golf class together. Here are a few photos of their fun.

Lia is a big fan of golf for the moment - it would be interesting if that continues .
I could certainly get on board with helping her practice! ;)
silly jax

i tried hard to get some good pictures of Maggie tumbling, but the light in their room did not cooperate. she had a great time and is asking me all the time when she gets to take another tumbling/dance class of some sort. lia never cared much for dance, but i think maggie might be a different story.

here she is...pink tank top and flowery shorts

august photos

these are just a few random photos from the month of august.

on summer days with not a lot going on we do get our craft on now and again....

here we are making a marble track for the fridge - idea courtesy of family fun magazine.

my mom is nice enough to send us family fun magazine(which i love) - because she is awesome.

1st step - painting paper towel tubes

the kids all still have their jammies and morning hair going on...what do you do?

once the paint is dry attach some magnet stripping to the back of each tube and arrange on the fridge for some marble racing

a few back yard pool photos from august..

i love that they dive into the back yard pool...so funny

ahhh...sometimes they do love each other

i think i told him 20 times not to jump into the pool like that (for safety reasons)

you can see how well that worked..

a few more park photos..

mags giving me the taylor swift heart...cute

and now yet another park - this time in the evening with dad

this is doty park - another of my favorites in the area - great bridges, close to the water etc.

you can see in this picture why they prefer dad to spin them - mom never goes that fast

sweet girl

always climbing on everything

cute photo -

unfortunately maggie had just pulled all of the elastics out of her hair, which is an interesting look

dad this picture is for you!

the geese at this park are insane, they always make me think of steve! :)

love the swinging benches:)

ty posing in front of doty cabin - he will love that i posted this photo i'm sure
