lakeview art show

my art classes at the elementary school wrapped up towards the end of the year and it was time for an ART SHOW! Each student (from all grades) that attended my class submitted two pieces of artwork they completed in class to be exhibited. There were about 60 kids that took classes - so close to 120 pieces of artwork to be displayed. We used the school library for the show, invited all the families...and of course made some treats (thanks to my friend Julie for helping with food - you are awesome). I thought it turned out to be a great night, i love those kids, and i was so proud of their work when I saw it all hanging in one place!:)

maggie wanted to make some treats of her own.....mmmmm tasty
you have no idea how many of these i pretended to eat as we were cooking that morning!

I am impressed with the children's work - they are still so young. Must have something to do with their awesome teacher! Looks like it was a fun night.
