The other day the kids and I decided the weather was so nice it just had to be enjoyed! We packed a lunch and the sand toys and headed to Hartman Creek state park - which is about 45 min. from our house. It is s gorgeous park with a great lake/beach area. The kids swam and built sand castles - and I enjoyed a whole day of sitting in the sun. It is a great spot, I had never been there before but we will definitely be back!
Here are the kids enjoying the water..

The kids were really digging their collection of shells until it started moving. Apparently those shells were home to some critters. Here's Lia and Jax shoveling them back into the dump truck to take back to the lake. As soon as they found out the shells were occupied they were not interested in sitting by them any longer. :)
