sUMMeR cOncert fUN!

Every Thursday throughout the summer there is a concert in the park in downtown Neenah. We try to go as often as we can, it is so fun to sit outside and listen to music while we eat lunch. The park is fairly close to Ty's work too - so quite often he will join us (an added bonus!). The kids generally wear their swimsuits and play in a big water fountain that is next to the amphitheater. Unfortunately last Thursday when we went the fountain wasn't working, Lia and Jax were highly disappointed. We still had a great time though- The lady who was singing even invited the kids to join her on stage for a few numbers. Lia(never one for stage fright) jumped at the chance of course.

Here she is - all smiles on stage in her swimsuit and red boa!

Oooh...and now a pink boa

Just to give you an idea of the crowd! I'm so happy that she will stand up in front of this many people without batting an eyelash! She is such a gutsy little soul, I love that about her.

Just wishing the fountain was on
So, after the lack of water at the park we stopped on our way home to get some Popsicles and a backyard swimming pool to cool down. Apparently we were not the only ones who had not yet geared up for summer. The swimming pool isle was almost bare - the only pool we could find was this dime size pink number. The great thing about kids is they didn't even care that much, they played and played and had a great time! Is Lia always flying through the air - or is it just me? It seems to be a theme with her..

Yummy Treats! Maggie, true to form, is a complete mess! Who is her mother?

Kelly,

You guys have been busy! We've missed you! I LOVE Lia up on stage in her swimsuit and boa! The boa is the best! Love Jaxon's outfit he picked out for his drum session! Too cute! And I think Maggie's hair is getting so long! When did we see you last!?

Lia truly has springs in her legs and meant to be on stage for sure. Love the messy faces - such good summer fun. Glad Maggie is better. Miss you tons. G. Lynn
