grandma's visit

We were thrilled to have my mom come visit the first week in March. It was so great spend some time with her. The kids had a great time hanging out with grandma, showing her where they go to school, soccer etc. Here are some pictures from her visit. Unfortunately most of these are pictures that she took so they do not include her cute face.

While my mom was visiting I was able to chaperone Lia's school field trip. It was so nice of her to watch Jax and Maggie so that I could spend some time with Lia. We went to the Appleton Performing Arts Center to see a production of "Mrs. Bindergarten gets ready for Kindergarten". The kids were really well behaved and loved the play - it was great fun!

jax sporting some new shades from aunt jenn and a new TMNT shirt that Ty bought on e-bay. We finally found a replacement for his other shirt! HOORAY!

Grandma Lynn bought the girls some new Littlest Pet Shop animals - here they are playing away! Thanks Grandma :) Silly Jax
Grandma got to join Lia for school lunch one day - she snapped a few photos of Lia and her buddies eating. Frech Toast Sticks on the menu...Lucky Grandma!


Our week also included shopping, eating out, a movie (Marley and Me), an overnight date for Tyler and I, and Lily's b-day celebration. My mom was able to meet each of the kids teachers, watch them both play soccer Saturday morning, and in church on Sunday our family sang together in Sacrament meeting and Lia gave a talk in Primary. Thanks for everything mom...please come again soon - and maybe you could bring that handsome guy you married with you. :)
