The kids and I went to a small zoo close to our home the other day. It is actually called the "Special Memories Zoo" for those of you who may be thinking my post title was ultra cheesy. Anyway, we had a great time! What this small zoo lacks in ambiance it certainly made up for in animal interaction. They have an awesome petting zoo - the kids got to be right next to the animals. Maggie especially was in HEAVEN!
