Miss Maggie turned one on Friday. Where does the time go? We had a little party for her here at the house Friday evening. We are blessed to have Grandma Lynn visiting at the moment, which made it a bit more of a celebration. Maggie has had no trouble warming up to her! It is so fun to see her give big loves to Grandma!
Maggie has a little Pooh Bear doll she is quite fond of, so Lia and Jax chose a Pooh Bear theme for the party! Maggie pretty much had no idea what was going on. In true one-year-old fashion she had fun playing with the wrapping paper. Lia and Jaxon were more than happy to break in her new toys for her! She did enjoy the cake however, it was so cute to watch her digging in. She didn't even bother using her hands - just a face plant into the frosting.
What can I say about Maggie? She has brought such joy to our family. She is such a happy little girl! She always has a smile on her face. She loves to laugh and be silly, especially with dad and her siblings. She likes to give hugs and very slobbery kisses. It is so fun to have her toddling around the house. She is starting to say just a few things. My favorite is when Tyler comes home from work and she gets so excited. The moment she hears him coming she just screams "DADADADA!"
